PSYCHOLOGY
If you are living with anxiety, depression, or other issues that are impacting on your mental health and wellbeing then our psychological and counselling services can help. We understand that symptoms can be very distressing and we can assist with strategies to help reduce the distress and set you on your path to recovery.
Sessions are 50 minutes long, usually one to one although sometimes a family member may attend all or part of a session. We have comfortable rooms here at The Base as well as the option of telehealth if getting out is difficult. We also offer walk and talk appointments for those who prefer to get out and about.

Potential approaches include Cognitive behaviour therapy, Dialectical behaviour therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Schema Therapy, Motivational Enhancement Therapy, Brief-Solution Focused Therapy. Our clinicians are trauma informed.
