Kasia Aksamit

Kasia is a warm and engaging Psychologist who offers holistic support grounded in nature-based, somatic, and trauma-informed approaches. She believes that personal and collective healing are deeply connected and essential to wellbeing and social justice.

She has experience working with adults, adolescents, and children and she supports her people through experiences including anxiety, chronic stress, grief and loss, relational challenges, identity exploration, low self-esteem, loneliness, suicidal thoughts, and self-harm. Her particular interests include complex and childhood trauma, cultural and migration-related challenges, transitions, grief, neurodivergence, and spirituality.

She is committed to ongoing learning and strives to offer safe, culturally aware, and empowering spaces for people to process trauma and reconnect with themselves.

Originally from Poland, Kasia completed her Master’s degree in Psychology there and had her qualifications recognised in Australia in 2020. Her immigrant journey informs her culturally attuned and inclusive practice.

She welcomes people of all ages, identities, cultures, abilities, faiths, and backgrounds.

Outside of work, she feels most at home in nature, and finds joy in baking, pottery, and spending time with loved ones and her dog Pepper.
