Eloise Sandmann
Eloise is an art therapist registered with ANZACATA, who is part of the LGBTQIA+ community. Through her lived experience as an artist and practising as an art therapist, she deeply believes in the therapeutic power of art to reconnect people to play and safety when words or understanding experiences aren’t accessible. Eloise invites a soft place to land that is warm, relational and non-judgemental, where clients can explore their inner world and facilitate meaningful change through the emotional safety of the therapeutic relationship.
Her practice is grounded in trauma-informed, strengths based, neuro-affirming and person centred care. Eloise has experience in private inpatient and outpatient mental health settings, as well as in private practice supporting neurodivergent folk. She has worked with a range of people and welcomed all different ages across the lifespan, gender identities, sexualities, neurotypes, cultures, faiths and abilities.
She has supported her clients through a range of challenges including anxiety, depression, complex PTSD, chronic stress and burnout, grief and loss, chronic health conditions, relational challenges, suicidal ideation, self-harm, interoception awareness, identity challenges, low self-esteem and life transitions.
In her spare time she enjoys getting creative with many art mediums, enjoys trialling out new recipes to cook, hyper-fixating on new music, spending time with her cats, being at the beach and walking in nature.
